Colleen Helgerson is a Certified Karuna Reiki ® Instructor. Practitioner Levels one and two are a step beyond ART. (you

Level Two Reflexology Class:
Reflexology-Plus is a 450 hour certification
program. A series of FIVE, three-day workshops, (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) over a period of 16 months. The course includes:

Meditation Retreat
This retreat is for those just learning about meditation or those who desire to deepen their present
practice of meditation and spend a weekend in prayer and silence. This weekend will include presentations and practices of:
Zen meditation, mindfulness meditation, chanting and sounding and centering prayer. Optional holistic energy work and spiritual

Women in Interfaith Dialogue
Come and explore the place of women in leadership in the major religions, historically and currently and how as women
leaders in our various faith organizations, we can come together to work faithfully to promote understanding and the betterment
of our community and world. Friday
evening and Saturday morning will involve presentations and group discussions. Saturday afternoon Virginia Melroy, a certified
leader of the Dances of Universal Peace and a member of the Unitarian Universalist Society of Iowa, will lead a session of
Dances of Universal Peace, a world-wide movement of meditation and body prayer begun in the late 1960s by the Sufi master
Samuel Lewis. The Dances combine simple folk dance steps with chanting or singing of sacred words and phrases from many spiritual
traditions, including Judaism, Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism and native indigenous religions. We will end the afternoon
with a simple candle lighting ceremony and a reading from each of the traditions represented. Leadership for the weekend in
addition to Melroy is Zuiko Redding, Resident Teacher at the Cedar Rapids Zen Center, Barbara Schlachter, Episcopal Priest
serving at Christ Church in Cedar Rapids, Miriam Amer, representing the Muslim tradition and Karen Swindler, director of Youth
Formation at All Saints Catholic Parish. Participants from Hindu and Jewish women is pending. The weekend begins with a social
time and registration at 4:30 p.m. and dinner at 5:30 p.m. Childcare is available at no extra cost during the session. Children
must be registered by Nov. 1. Fee: $45 includes Friday dinner and Saturday lunch. Overnight accommodations are an additional

Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry: The Art of Listening to Spiritual
Guidance, Course 105
The Art of Listening to Spiritual Guidance is a three-day course for students who have completed
Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry courses 103 and 104. It is for those who desire more in-depth skills in their healing work. This workshop
is filled with exercises to strengthen awareness of divine guidance that is available to everyone. Chelation is introduced
as a way to do deeper spiritual healing work. Emphasis is on development of higher sense perception, discernment of spirits
and the roles of angelic helpers and the communion of saints in relation to spiritual guidance. Self-healing, self-development
and ethical behavior of the practitioner are emphasized as the student deepens an awareness of God working in our lives. Fee:
$456 includes lunches Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Repeater's Fee: $239 includes lunches. Full-time Student Fee: $347 includes
